Victor Lazarow

Victor Lazarow has served in the drama department for more than 30 years. He received a doctorate in theater from the University of Georgia with a specialty area in dramatic theory and criticism.

He also holds a master’s degree in performance studies from New York University. A member of the Actors’ Equity Association, he spent more than 20 years performing in regional theaters throughout the country, ranging from the Texas Shakespeare Festival and Virginia Stage to the Iowa Theatre Festival and the McCloud Theatre in Southern Illinois. While a resident of New York City, he was a founding member of the New Repertory Company and performed with the Roundabout Theatre, the C.S.C. Repertory, and the Riverside Shakespeare Company. He also appeared in daytime TV dramas, including episodes of All My Children and Kate & Allie.
