The media

The College of Visual and Performing Arts’ Office of Communications sends the majority of its news to the local media. However, depending on the type of news, we can pitch stories to regional, national, and even international outlets. We work with SU News Services to target the appropriate media and select the appropriate media contacts.

On the local level, "the media" refers to the following:

• Local newspapers, including the Post-Standard, Syracuse New Times, the Eagle newspapers, and the Daily Orange
• Local radio stations, including WAER and WSYR
• Local television stations, including our NBC, CBS, and ABC affiliates and News 10 Now
• Online presences such as syracusearts.net (events news)
