Instructor, Museum Studies
Miranda Traudt holds a B.F.A. in art history from Pratt Institute and two M.A.’s in museum studies and art history from Syracuse University. Her professional background includes management positions in museums and galleries, with a specialty in contemporary art.
As the managing director of the Point of Contact Gallery, she is responsible for all operations, including a contemporary art gallery, programs in literature, release of annual publications, and coordination of arts education initiatives. Concurrently, Traudt teaches at several local colleges and universities in the areas of museum studies, arts management, and art history. She is also active in many community organizations, including the steering committees of 40 Below, the Arts and Leadership Alliance of Central New York, and chairing the Public Art Task Force.
