Career Counselor

Jackie Flores joined the Office of Student Success, as a Career Counselor, at the College of Visual and Performing Arts in March 2019.

Prior to joining the Office of Student Success team, Jackie worked for the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, advising active military, veterans and spouses through a career transition program. She also worked at Bryant & Stratton College in Liverpool, New York as an Academic Advisor to traditional, non-traditional and veteran students. Jackie holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Upon graduation, she spent several years working for a wide variety of mental health agencies in Delhi, New York as well as Greenville, North Carolina. While residing in Greenville, North Carolina, she obtained her master’s degree in Counselor Education with a Higher Education, Career Counseling and Mental Health track.
