Careers in Communication and Rhetorical Studies

The major in Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies offers students many flexible options in terms of career preparation.  The career possibilities listed below are just that—suggested way that a student might combine the CRS major with a second major, one or more minors, or a collection of courses tailored to your specific interests.  These combinations are not meant to represent career “tracks” as the faculty believes very strongly in an education that prepares one to be an intelligent, well-rounded, intellectually sophisticated person who will not only perform well in a selected career choices, but who will posses the flexibility to be a valuable contributor in the many different new and emerging career fields in the new economy.
