The Setnor School of Music’s Soyars Leadership Lecture Series brings music industry leaders from the highest levels of the field to speak about the latest issues in music industry.
The lectures are open to the public and take place at School of Management, Room 007.
Genevieve Spielberg, Inc. (GSI Artists) was founded by Genevieve Spielberg to provide today's artists and arts organizations with a wide array of services including public relations, personal representation, special projects, consulting and artist management with emphasis placed on their distinct personal goals. Ms. Spielberg brings more than two decades of experience working with such distinguished artists as Isaac Stern, Gil Shaham, Roberta Peters, Radu Lupu, the Cleveland String Quartet, JoAnn Falletta, Barry Douglas and Sharon Isbin.
Passionate about bringing creativity to her work, Ms. Spielberg has organized many unique events including a Guinness World Book record for the most flutists performing at one time on behalf of the National Flute Association. A champion of new music and committed to her work with contemporary composers, she has successfully put together consortiums to commission new works for Yolanda Kondonassis, Project Trio, and The Shanghai Quartet.
Ms. Spielberg is a graduate of Syracuse University, where she received a Bachelor of Music Industry degree with Performance Honors and a concentration in Marketing/Management. She also completed the American Symphony Orchestra Management Seminar of the League of American Orchestras in Washington, D.C.
