It's been a busy couple of weeks getting the musical Quilters ready for opening night (this Friday!). There are a lot of costume pieces and little (and some big props...such as quilts) for this show, and I make sure they are all set the correct way before the show starts. In addition, some costume and prop pieces get used more than once, so I'm also in charge of tracking the various items to make sure they are set correctly in the next position. The last couple of days have been very long ones, with papers, tests, and classes during the day, and then technical/dress rehearsals in the evening. The last couple of nights I have not gotten home until after midnight. There is just so much to do with this show. The good news is each day there are less and less notes after the run through.
I highly suggest everyone come see this show! It only runs this weekend (Friday-Sunday) and next week (Wednesday-Saturday).
