Art photography
Our master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree program in art photography attracts students who have established a strong body of work and are committed to further their engagement with contemporary photographic practices. You work closely with our faculty along with distinguished scholars throughout Syracuse University to further your artistic research.
Art video
The graduate program in art video encourages exploration of the aesthetic possibilities of subject, genre, and media technologies from personal points of view. In this master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree program, you work closely with faculty in developing structure and strategies for making art in the video medium, including performance, narrative, documentary, site-specific, and multi-channel installation.
Computer art
The master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree program in computer art is an artistic research and development program situated in the context of technology. You are encouraged to develop a diverse set of practices within computer art.
Film
The most unique aspect of our master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree program in film is the integration of film production with the intellectual study of cinema through a regimen of film history, film culture, and film theory courses.
