Michelle Cox

Michelle Cox currently works on the women’s plus brand, women’s accessories, and Moss Black at Target’s headquarters in Minneapolis. She has focused on textile print and pattern for more than five years, igniting a deep and passionate love. Other companies she has had the pleasure of working for include Ralph Lauren and Hunt and Gather Studio. Cox recently had the opportunity to broaden her creative horizons at Target while working on a collaborative architectural project. A design was needed for the exterior of the new flagship store in Bellevue, Washington; her design, “Modern Print and Pattern Play,” was chosen.

Vice President of User Interface Design, Apple

Alan Dye is vice president of user interface design at Apple. He previously worked as a senior designer at Landor Associates, an international branding firm; as a designer at Ogilvy & Mather’s Brand Integration Group (BIG); and as design director at kate spade, where he was responsible for the overall aesthetic of the brand. He has also done design work for the New York Times, Simon & Schuster, the National Basketball Association and New York Magazine. His design work has been recognized by many design publications and websites, and he is a regular speaker for design and advertising events.

Founder and Executive Director, El Museo Latino

Magdalena García is the founder and executive director of El Museo Latino in Omaha, Nebraska, the Midwest’s first Latino art and history museum and cultural center and one of only 11 museums in the United States dedicated to Latino art, history, and culture. Since it opened its doors in 1993, more than 200 exhibits have been mounted at El Museo Latino, and its year-round educational programs in the visual and performing arts are a vital part of the city's cultural scene. Sparked in part by García's personal expertise as a dancer, instructor, and choreographer in the Mexican folkloric tradition, El Museo Latino's folk dance program was recognized as one of the top 50 youth arts and humanities programs in the United States by the President's Committee on the Arts.

Thom Filicia, founder and principal of Thom Filicia Inc., has emerged as one of today’s most influential and respected interior designers. His clients have ranged from Tina Fey, Delta Air Lines, Grace Bay Club, Jennifer Lopez, W Hotels, and Peter Jennings to those in the worlds of finance, sports, and hospitality. Gaining fame on the Emmy-winning Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Style Network and HGTV, Filicia is a bestselling author and has been praised as a “Top 100 Designer” by House Beautiful and an “A-List” designer by Elle Décor. Additionally, he has been featured in the New York Times, People, In Style, Vogue Home, O, USA Today, and many other national and international publications.

Bryan Buckley

Commercial and Film Director; Co-Founder, Hungry Man

Bryan Buckley is an award-winning commercial and film director. Dubbed “King of the Super Bowl” by the New York Times, he has directed more than 40 commercials for the big game since 2000. In addition to winning more than 40 Cannes Lions, he has earned six Emmy nominations and the distinction of being named Commercial Director of the Decade in a 2010 Adweek readers’ poll. His short film Asad (2012) was nominated for an Academy Award and won Best Narrative Short at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. With partner Hank Perlman he co-founded the commercial production company Hungry Man in New York. Hungry Man is the only company to be ranked in the top 10 at the Cannes Lions advertising festival for more than 10 consecutive years.
